But why did it say "Join 5 Others", unless you folks sent the E directly after putting to gether the petition, and seen as how I'm still waiting to see if any contracts will be signed? so I can get back to work, I hit it right at the start.

Don't back down period. If Obama doesn't like tough Clark is our guy not his. We need people like the General to stand up to these hypocritical dudnderheads. We don't need another snafu in Iran and I don't want my 3 sons drafted because Bush got his feelings hurt. I am also tired of the GOP trotting out Reagan all the time. Don't they remember the 238 USMC troops killed in Beriut, oh wait didn't they blame Clinton for that also. Sorry to vent.

Greg

Oh Yes! I Signed! Go General Clarck (0.00 / 0)
I think that was the U.S. Peace Keeping Force in Beruit The Republican Ronald Reagan sent in to KEEP PEACE! Yes! I remember this well, my ex-husband was there during that time. He could never talk about it, all he told me one time was they were never able to "lock & Load", they were not able to protect themselves! He lived, but came home so mentally tortured, he had no life! Drugs, drinking, cops, and no help! We could not make it because of some of the things that happened.

Yes, and if they happen to do what I think there going to do and Obama gets in, he will be harshly blamed for that most definatly! I don't happen too think Gen. Clark said anything wrong or said anything condesending. It was the Truth! How can you know what s going on, on the ground when your in a fighter jet. I don't think that takes away from his service or POW status. But he also has not been on the ground fighting counterinsurgency.

Maybe I have to ask some of the combat veteran's from Vietnam and some of the combat veteran's from Iraq  and Afghan what are the differences as far as fighting the 2 wars? Was the war in Vietnam fought as a counterinsurgency type thing or was it the same kind of war as we fight now. I'm sorry I'm not asking this where it makes sense to me, I hope you can understand what I'm trying to ask you. Thanks

General Clark's comments regarding McCain (0.00 / 0)
were pretty much on the money. In fact, the same - and a lot less - can be said about Senator Obama. So, where exactly does that leave us?

But, I have been scratching my head over why y'all think a petition is necessary to encourage the General to keep speaking the truth or to let the media know that we all have the General's back. If that's the case, then this country is in far worse shape than even I thought!

oh, so close but yet so far. (0.00 / 0)
You almost had it too, but it looks like you missed the point by just thaaaaat much.

Maybe an old timey phrase like "nip it in the bud" would help.

And Yes "country is in far worse shape" than you think.

GEN Clark hit it center mass with his comments, and I'm still somewhat puzzled that Obama's repudiated Clark's accurate statement.

McCain will continue Bush's ineffective, dangerous policies, futhering this nation's downward spiral. The military's tapped out, and recent developments re: Iran really keep me up at night.

Played it Exactly Right, leaving No room for Any blowback from negative remarks with the 4th coming!

But you know fox, druggie, and others will find something, if not they'll just make it up.
