MAJ Nidal Malik Hasan, the suspect in last weeks shootings at Fort Hood, is in stable condition at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss, Texas. CNN reports that he has been taken off his ventilator and is talking to hospital staff:

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the suspect in last week's mass shooting at the Fort Hood Army Post, is conscious and talking, according to a spokesman for the Army hospital where he is being treated.

Authorities have not identified a motive in Thursday's attack that left 13 dead and 42 others wounded.

Honestly, I'm not concerned with the motive. It's not like it will make sense to any one anyway.  I'm just hoping that investigators can rule out an co-conspirators, and that MAJ Hasan can stand trial.

Well from (0.00 / 0)
what has been out so far, he was not an al Qaida mole. He was radicalized right here in the US of A.

That said, I think things do make sense actually. Everywhere else the Saudi religious establishment operates, assholes like Hasan pop up. Why would the United States be any different.

You like to focus on one 'boogieman' constantly, where are any references or outrage as to the radical elements known, and unknown, in this Country already, the HomeGrown!!!!

Ummmm (0.00 / 0)
Saudi Religious establishment in America=Homegrown radicals.

Besides, what you said just made absolutely no sense whatsoever. If we had as big as a Christian fundamentalist problem as you seem to think, wouldn't it be imperative to keep foreign interests such as the Saudis out of here?

Of course the whole boogieman talk simply sounds retarded. The issues regarding the Saudi religious establishment have been thoroughly documented. At the same end, when the Russians, Israelis, Iraqis, Syrians, and Serbs all agree on something, there is probably a very large measure of truth to it.

I have a link in the Open Thread (0.00 / 0)
That you might want to look at Richard.

And if true, then this is either looking like a total breakdown of Military Command structure or much worse.

If the Intelligence community were watching him for months they would have known about his promotion, his orders to Afghanistan, his change of command in prep for those orders, his training as well in prep for those Afghan orders, his purchase of the handguns Especially the 'Cop Killer' one and so much more!!

Someone or more then were seemingly making the effort to keep all this under wraps. I have a whole host of links that when you read or watch the video reports leaves one with more questions especially about all the flags going up and why were they ignored!!

And I can't stand Conspiracy reaching unless everything points toward or there are way to many unanswered questions that should and could be answered!!
